so here are some more of the shenanigans that went down @ the shufeldt wedding...

the following are specifically for wendy and candace :)

at some point during the reception, dave here (wendy's significant other) decided the rest of the guests apparently weren't being entertained enough, so...

he decided to show off some of his o-so-smoove moves...
i believe this one's called the bicycle.

this was a one man show, until...

wendy and candace joined him...

apparently they were unable to find a hook or a gong...

and just to prove that they aren't completely insane...i added some normal ones of them from earlier in the day on the trolley.

how cute are they?

and here's one of candace and her man, george - whom is from toronto and has a great accent .

...and is really strong too. ;-)

today is my sister's birthday so i want to send a shout out to her...

she is 35 today! (on 8.8.08) - in case you didn't know what day it was today.


i also have to say happy b-day to my friend joelle who turned the big 4-0 today...

this is hank - the scrumptious baby boston terrier. i shot these last night at joelle's friend, tamara's home. she just got him a few days ago. seriously, he's so cute i want to make a hank sandwich out of him and eat him up!!!!

melissa & jeff's wedding

i recently shot my friend missy's wedding - she married a fantastic guy named jeff.

their wedding was at the henry ford estate - beautiful! the day was perfect...warm - but not too warm, sunny with big fluffy clouds in the sky - it was gorgeous!

i started off at missy's house, getting some shots of her, her mom and some of her friends getting ready. the morning was actually going pretty smooth until cash (the cat) got out...

i snapped some shots of missy - veil on, hair looking fantastic, searching around outside for cash...

well, of course it drew some attention and soon a few of the neighbors came out to see if they could help. this picture above is of missy - no luck finding cash. until...

phew...one of her neighbors saved the day!

and here's the hand off...

...and once that was all taken care of, cash was locked in a room somewhere (temporarily) and then we got back to business...

all continued going well...the trolley came to pick the girls up. jeff was already at the estate, so that's where we headed next.

i just want to share a few more pictures with you that i feel i was SO lucky to get...

it all took place minutes before the bride was to walk down the aisle...

tension was a little high...some were stressed...nervous, naturally....

when all the sudden (thank you jesus) i got a shot of the mother of the bride pinching the mother of the groom on the bottom right before she was escorted to her seat...

yes, you read it right...pinched her in the bottom. and i must say that it is a moment like that ladies and gentlemen, that if caught on camera.....................priceless.

bella moon has a blog!!! yeah!!!

HELLO!

well...i've recently decided to create a blog for bella moon for a few reasons:

1. for my clients - to get a sneak peak of their shoot & because i think it will be fun for them to see and read about themselves on a blog. fun, right?

2. for my family and friends - since photography takes up most of my time, this will be a way for my peeps to see what i'm up to and see what it is i do - behind the scenes, too!
also, for my sister - because we live so far away, i can put stuff up of the kids and whatnot - just another way for us to communicate and keep in touch.

3. because everyone else has a blog and i want one too. :)
