n.c.f

most of you know that i have 3 children. but 1 of them is rarely photographed. my eldest child, noah has gotten camera shy in his old age so it is not very common to see pictures of him. but to prove that he does exist, i am posting a few recent pics of him...

this was taken a few weeks ago at one of his football games.
btw...congrats bulldogs on an awesome season. they only lost one game (because of a horribly unfair call by a ref at the last minute which caused us to loose by 2 points...not bitter).

can u see his dimple?

i like this one of him. it's very noah.

and of course, my favorite. look how handsome he is.

he may not love the camera, but the camera loves him. :)

anyway, i was feeing a bit neglectful of my noah christopher, so i thought i'd give him some time in the spotlight. i'm sure he'd appreciate it. :)

thanks for reading!

talan

this is my new friend talan. one of the most adorable 3-year-olds i've ever had the pleasure of meeting. i'm really happy with this shoot. he had SO much personality that it was hard not to capture the cuteness. :)

this is probably my favorite...
adorable.

this one is hilarious to me because of the way he's standing, being goofy.

love it.
the day couldn't have been nicer.
love the quote, love the picture. the way the sun is hitting his face.......love it. :)
my job is so fun and little ones like talan are the reason why i love it so much.
thank you kimberly and talan - it was a pleasure meeting you both.

50 amp

i had the pleasure of shooting one of my favorite local bands about a month ago. it was a pretty crappy fall day (shocking.) but all in all, i think it came out good.

we shot it at cheli's. first, up on the roof til it rained - then we got some shots inside, then back out again on the streets of downtown dearborn (in the rain)
...ok, fine it was drizzling - but my camera still did get wet :)

here's the band...

in order from L to R: david, remy, steve, billy, and allen

we busted out the umbrella's for a few shots...

see no evil, hear no evil...

one of my fav's...

crossing michigan ave.

during this shot, there was a truck at the red light - or maybe a bus, not sure...anyway, they honked their horn and literally - i almost peed myself. i was so not expecting it and it scared the......well........the you know what out of me. :) i believe david had the same experience...

street walkin'...

not exactly sure how to preface this one...
we were almost done...a little tired...(the talent was getting a bit restless/bored, shhh....)
anyhoo, we stopped by the door and it said 'enter in rear' - which made some of us giggle...
next thing you know the boys, i believe, were making a joke of the situation...
so steve busts out the generic 'band' pose.... the 'look at me, i'm a superstar' pose...
i like this shot, though...

and last but not least i asked if someone would be willing to 'leap or jump' off of this bench...
steve volunteered...
thank you steve.
although he blocked allen's face in the attempt...

it still came out to be a pretty cool shot. :)
p.s. these pics will all be up on the site soon. it's hard to see them on this blog (which i will be changing soon to a new company that allows bigger pictures.)
thank you again, 50 amp fuse for choosing me for this...i had a great time working with all of you...

brianna

a few weeks ago, i did a senior session for a fantastic young lady named brianna...

here are some of my favs from her shoot...

she was so easy to photograph.

isn't she gorgeous?

love this shot...

these next two are (in my opinion) fantastic. unfortunately, this is as big as i can make them.
but take my word for it - or go on my site to see them :)

thank you brianna - you are a beautiful girl with an awesome personality...it was great meeting you!!

halloween

ok, so i know it was like 6 days ago, but here are some of the halloween pics that i took of the kids...

these are our pumkins that we carved....

don't be jealous.

they did look pretty cool. :)

this one was actually taken a few days prior to halloween. bell was in her costume for the haunted school...

could she be any cuter?

i think not.

here is noah in his alien gangster costume...

that might be gang sign for 'tupak is my homeboy' but i'm not quite sure.

here are the three of them right before we left the house...

noah still throwing up signs...

here's miss thing...in her witch costume....sugared up....gun in hand....

with a pumpkin sticker on her cheek...looking like she's on her way to a bank heist.

i saved my favorite for last....

how handsome is my little boba fett? seriously? that boy MAKES that costume look good.
they had a great night. their sugar high lasted until about midnight in case u wondered...:)

bella's first day of school

well, i never would've thought that the day would come when all 3 of my kids were in school, granted bell only just started pre-school, but nevertheless...

here are some pictures from her first day...

this one's for my sister...this is the 'power to the people' picture i told her about.
she was showing me her bracelet - but it looks like she raising her fist in angst.
well, there she is - my little preschooler...

i'm back...

hello! sorry it's been so long since i've blogged. so much has been going on...
back to school stuff, work, work and more work...

anyway, i'm back to post some more fun stuff, yea...! (sit back and relax please - it's gonna be a long one.)

so... i last blogged about the shufeldt wedding, which i am now done working on. it will be up on my site in it's own gallery soon. stay tuned for that...

i've done some senior sessions - which were so fun - a few concerts - and another wedding. (as well as some stuff in between.)

the month of august FLEW by...

time to get ready for the oh-so-lovely michigan winter that's just around the corner...boo. :(

so anyway, what i want to share now are some adorable pics of my friend joelle's daughters, sinclair and regan.

i took them to downtown ann arbor and did a session with them for joelle's birthday...remember, my forty year old friend (i say it like that 'cause i know she loves it so much) that i mentioned in one of my previous blogs?

any way, here are a few of my favs:

this was in bubble gum alley...
such characters :)

we went into this little crunchy granola store and the girls were having a ball. it was short lived though because we were asked to leave. they didn't like me using their store as my studio apparently...

seriously, how amazing is she? look at the air that girl got...! (phew...no broken bones :)

love.

love more.

love most.

can't even stand it.

love that shoot! thank you so much my little munchkin friends....

next, i have my nieces senior pictures. (BTW, yes i do actually have paying customers - there are really people who are willing to pay me...believe it or not :)

anyway, allie and cailie are seniors this year. notre dame academy and whitmer high school - toledo. congrats to them!!
here are a few of my favs from their shoot...

al, looking adorable as usual...

looking o-nat-u-ral in the field...

more loveliness...

and here's cailie...looking fantastic in the field...
my personal fav...

this one i feel is very cailie. i love it.

how adorable is she?

i love you girls! i had a blast!

that same day, i also shot meghan (allie's sister). i also got a few of the girls with matt, my brother-in-law, as well.
here are some of those...

meghan and allie...
couldn't love this picture more...

here's one with matt in it...the proud father of these two amazing young ladies...
one of meg's in the field...
not all looks...she's also an honor student at xavier university...
love you meg.
ok, carpal tunnel is now starting to set in...
i will post more later...
thanks for reading.
good night.
